Join the NS3 for our new program An Evening of Science! In a one hour workshop, students will explore the science behind objects and materials we use every day through different hands-on science activities.
The Science of Papermaking
Discover the steps involved in turning pulp to paper and the importance of recycling.
November 23 from 6:30-7:30pm.
The Chemistry of Natural Dyes
Experiment with natural dyes and acid/base reactions to create colourful fabric swatches. You will leave inspired with ideas to try at home!
December 14 from 6:30-7:30pm.

Science Saturday Workshop
Light It Up
Join the NS3 for Light It Up a family fun workshop creating a paper circuit winter-themed card! With parent participation, children will design and build a paper circuit to light up an LED to add to their card design. Additional light-themed activities will be available.

Ages: 6+ (parent participation required)

NS3 PROGRAM POLICIES
NS3 reserves the right to refuse admission or dismiss any participants from camp in order to ensure the safety and enjoyment of fellow participants. English communication skills are essential.
To be accepted, applications must be submitted with all information complete and with full payment.
Cancellation, Withdrawal and Refunds
NS3 reserves the right to cancel a program one week prior to the start date, and will refund all fees for a cancelled program. Withdrawal with refund must be requested in writing more than two weeks prior to program start date. Any withdrawals or changes will be subject to a $5 administrative fee.
There are NO REFUNDS given for withdrawals requested less than two weeks prior to the first day of the program. Pro-rated refunds are NOT available for days absent from a registered program.
NS3 will not assume responsibility for children before or after program.
Photos taken during programs are used for NS3 and VIU promotional materials, publications and advertisements. Parents may request no photos or videos be taken of their children.
