Come EXPLORE local parks and protected areas with Nanaimo Science’s outreach educators this summer! Explore Nanaimo’s diverse habitats with nature hikes, explorations of local flora and fauna, science games & art projects. No registration needed but we will have a contact tracing sheet to sign in with.

Tech Camp (Ages 8-12)
Island ConnectED 4355 Jingle Pot Rd, Nanaimo, BC, CanadaLet's get technical! Campers will learn to code with drag-and-drop coding software (Scratch), and the build on their skills with different applications. We will also explore Tinkercad, Audacity and/or PHET simulations! Runs daily from 9:00am-3:00pm. After camp care is available - please register separately for the days you need.
Catch a Wave Camp (Ages 6-12)
Island ConnectED 4355 Jingle Pot Rd, Nanaimo, BC, CanadaThere are so many awesome kinds of waves to explore! Campers will learn about sound waves, light waves, water waves, seismic waves, and more!
