Science of Exotic Pets – with C & J Critter Company
Our good friends at C & J Critter Company will be joining us for a fun and educational session all about unique creatures that most people wouldn’t think of first when thinking of pets!
Meet Chad & Jessica, the owners of our C & J Critter Company, and all their amazing animals! Jessica and Chad will be showing their various creatures, sharing information about each species, and even give families a chance to touch or hold some of these very special animals!
Nanaimo Science will be sharing activities about animals too – kids and adults will check out X-rays of some of these animals and look at a snake shed under a microscope. Kids can also try to build their own exoskeleton, or enjoy other critter-related crafts!
This event is intended for families to take part in with adults present, or for adults on their own! This event is best suited for children ages 5+!
