Costume Boo-Tique

October 19 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Join us at The Costume Boo-tique, a FREE costume event promoting sustainability and affordability this Halloween! 🎃👻
We’ll have a wide selection of gently-used costumes available. By choosing a pre-loved costume, you’ll be reducing your environmental impact while still enjoying all the fun of the season. Let’s make this Halloween not just affordable, but eco-conscious and sustainable!
How It Works:
Simply show up and pick a costume – it’s that easy! The event is first-come, first-served, with options for all ages. There may be a lineup to avoid overcrowding, so your patience is appreciated!
Costume Donations:
Do you have a gently-used costume to donate? All three Vancouver Island Regional Library (VIRL) locations in Nanaimo are accepting donations until October 16th. Drop off your costumes at a participating library near you to help us make this event a success!
We’d like to thank our partners:
Thank you to Vancouver Island Regional Library for hosting donation bins, Legion Branch #10 for their generous support and Country Club Centre for generously providing space for this event!

Come down, pick a costume, and celebrate Halloween in an eco-friendly way 🌎👗♻️
