April 11 (Aspengrove Pro-D) – Sound Science (1-day camp)

Kids will first learn about how our ears pick up sounds, and all about sound waves.  They will explore sound effects before dabbling with an electronic sound program (Audacity).

**This will be an auditorily-heavy program – over-the-ear headphones from home are recommended for Audacity time.  Nanaimo Science also has headphones available to loan kids while at camp.**

Lunch/recess will be held outdoors when weather permits, which will include a walk to Long Lake (approximately 15 minutes each way, on side roads). Students must bring appropriate outerwear for this outdoor time.

Runs from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Families must provide their own snacks and lunches.
