Winter Wonders Pro-D Camp

Escape the frost with Nanaimo Science this Pro-D Day Winter Wonders Camp! We’re turning our studio into a cozy science lab to explore the incredible science of the cold without ever needing a heavy coat. Get ready for a day of chilly experiments where we’ll go “ice fishing, investigate animal adaptations, experience flight as we test paper snowflakes in our custom wind tunnels, and we’ll harness the cold to create our very own delicious ice cream! Join us for a day packed with warmth, wonder, and cool science!

Lunch/recess will be held outdoors when weather permits, which will include a walk to Long Lake (approximately 15 minutes each way, on side roads).  While this is a primarily indoor camp, students must bring appropriate outerwear for recess/lunch.

Runs from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Families must provide their own snacks and lunches.
