Nanaimo Science is a proud member of the Canadian Association of Science Centres (CASC), a national network of organizations who champion Science and Innovation by making science approachable, relevant, and accessible.

With partners including major science museums, universities, and research facilities, CASC provides knowledge, representation, support, connectivity, and services for our members to thrive. As a national platform, CASC advocates on behalf of the broader science centre and science museum sector to communicate the value of informal science, technology, and innovation engagement, raise professional standards, and inform policy.

Nanaimo Science has taken part in previous CASC initiatives including Science Odyssey (powered by NSERC), and Science Literacy Week.

We are excited to build new connections and enhance Nanaimo Science’s programming through this membership.
