Science in the Park – HR MacMillan Arboertum

Science in the Park are free drop-in programs with science activities for children of all ages with their families!
Come explore the HR MacMillan Arboretum with Nanaimo Science educators. This beautiful park hosts trees from around the world and a variety of natural spaces. We will have our digital microscopes to help explore the area, tree ID guides, and demonstrations of forestry equipment such as clinometers and increment borers.
