Coastal Community Credit Union Relief and Resiliency Fund provides substantial COVID-19 support to Nanaimo Science
The Coastal Community Credit Union (CCCU) has awarded a generous financial contribution to Nanaimo Science. The Relief and Resiliency Fund is a program to support Vancouver Island and Gulf Islands not-for-profit community organizations deal with the effects of COVID-19 and help them through the pandemic.
“The Coastal Community Credit Union Relief and Resiliency fund will help Nanaimo Science regain its footing after a challenging spring, summer and fall 2020” says Elaine Parker, Executive Director at Nanaimo Science. “Through this generous funding, we will be able to plan ahead for new Science Studio space so that we can continue to deliver fun and educational science activities to young children. We are so grateful to CCCU for its ongoing support of Nanaimo Science and for being a champion for community engagement in our city.”
