Sue Durnin, founder and former President, retires from Board
Last week, one of our founders, Sue Durnin, officially retired from Nanaimo Science’s Board of Directors. It was Sue’s vision, to build an educational, hands-on place where she could take her kids to help them better understand the world around them. Over the next decade, Sue, alongside her co-founder, Liz DeMattia, helped realize this dream.
We want to thank Sue for creating the Nanaimo Science and Sustainability Society, and for her hard work over the last 10 years to get us to where we are today. No words can express our gratitude for everything you have provided to our organization.
