SUMMARY:Freaky Friday Pro D Camp
DESCRIPTION:With Halloween nearing\, what better time to explore the science of all things ookie and spooky! We’ll be learning about the different components of blood with a density tower\, exploring the how turmeric can be used as a pH indicator with a red hand print craft\, creating our own wacky creatures with Frankenstein’s Lab and more. Get ready to get into the Halloween spirit with Nanaimo Science! Costumes that are comfortable and casual enough for activities and playing outside are welcome. \nLunch/recess will be held outdoors when weather permits\, which will include a walk to Long Lake (approximately 15 minutes each way\, on side roads).  While this is a primarily indoor camp\, students must bring appropriate outerwear for recess/lunch. \nRuns from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
