DESCRIPTION:Nanaimo Science invites you to the Exciting Engineering Pro-D Camp designed to hone your skills as a master engineer. You will face a gauntlet of imaginative challenges where creativity is your greatest asset. Build a boat that can outfloat the heaviest weight\, construct towers engineered to withstand earthquakes\, design amazing flying machines that can soar to the ceiling\, and test different styles of paper airplanes to determine which can fly the best. There is no single answer here; only endless opportunities for you to design\, test\, and innovate. \nLunch/recess will be held outdoors when weather permits\, which will include a walk to Long Lake (approximately 15 minutes each way\, on side roads).  While this is a primarily indoor camp\, students must bring appropriate outerwear for recess/lunch. \nRuns from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Families must provide their own snacks and lunches.
