SUMMARY:FREE Drop In & Information session about Fall homeschool programs
DESCRIPTION:Come learn about the upcoming programs at Nanaimo Science for your homelearner or distributed learning student! \nWe will be open between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM for parents of Kindergarten to Grade 7 students to come by and learn about our programs with our Outreach Coordinator\, while kids keep busy with some free science activities. \nHigh School parents can join us between 1:00 and 2:30 PM for a similar session and a chance for high schoolers to check out our Micro:Bit computers. \nFamilies who cannot attend their intended time may also come by during the other session (e.g. High School families may show up in the morning)\, however activities for children will not be as directed to their age groups. \nWhile this is a drop-in session\, space may be limited at various times for activities.  We anticipate most families will remain on site for 10 to 30 minutes\, though children are welcome to take part in activities for longer times if there are no others waiting. \nREGISTRATION REQUESTED PLEASE (see link below)
